Dr. Haya Sweidan achieved her undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Biochemistry from Arizona State University before obtaining her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University in Chicago. Her professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Illinois State Dental Society, the American Student Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Dental Education Association.

Dr. Sweidan devotes herself to providing diligent, customized, and compassionate care that puts her patients at ease. She’s focused on developing trusting relationships that prioritize her patients’ needs and goals, and does everything she can to cultivate dental experiences that are relaxed and enjoyable. She is also fluent in Arabic.

An avid foodie who can recommend good restaurants in the area, Dr. Sweidan also enjoys relaxing with a good book.

Dr. Aaron J. Wildung, DDS

A passion for dentistry has been a part of Dr. Aaron J. Wildung’s life from an early age. After graduating high school, he worked as a dental assistant throughout his college years, where his interest in dentistry grew. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and has been practicing dentistry since 2015.

Dr. Wildung loves helping his patients improve their oral and overall health, and he does everything he can to help each person in his care protect, strengthen, and optimize their smiles.

He believes everyone should have access to quality dental care and is passionate about benefitting his community with effective and tailored dentistry. He and his wife, Kim, recently volunteered at the Arizona Dental Mission of Mercy, where they were privileged to positively impact the oral health of many community members.

When he's not caring for smiles, Dr. Wildung loves spending time with his wife and their three children, Riley, Chase, and Krysta. He's also an avid racquetball and bowling fan.

Meet Ruth

A native of Southern California, Ruth graduated from the Pacific School of Medical and Dental Careers as a dental assistant. She joined Garden Lakes Family Dentistry in 2005 after relocating to Arizona from New Orleans and has worked in many specialties throughout her career, with her favorite being family dentistry. She loves meeting new people and interacting with her patients!

Ruth is married to Matt and has two sons, Jacob and Justin, and two stepdaughters, Paige and Haley. She enjoys hiking, swimming, watching football, cooking, and gardening, but her favorite pastime is visiting family and friends.

Ileana

Dental Assistant

Meet Ileana

Ileana was born and raised in Chicago, where she graduated from Everest Technical College. Though she has been a dental assistant for over 10 years, she joined Garden Lakes Family Dentistry in 2019. She is passionate about her work and wants to return to school to further her education so she can better help her patients. As the wife of a veteran, Ileana has had the opportunity to live and work in various places around the world, including Chicago, New Mexico, Arizona, and Germany.

Ileana likes to stay active and enjoys working out and playing soccer. She loves spending time with her husband and daughter, and their Boston terriers, Monty and Gizmo.

As a proud Arizona native, Maryann earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences from Arizona State University and received her Dental Hygiene degree from Rio Salado Community College. She is passionate about providing compassionate, detail-oriented care and making every patient feel comfortable and cared for. Maryann enjoys educating patients on the connection between oral health and overall wellness and loves serving her community by helping create healthy, confident smiles.

Born and raised in Arizona, Melany earned her Dental Hygiene degree at Rio Salado Community College. She is committed to providing exceptional dental care and helping each patient in bettering their oral health. Melany prioritizes the patient's needs, values, and preferences all while providing gentle, compassionate care. During her free time, she enjoys staying active and spending time with family.

Meet Lizbeth

I was born and raised in Arizona. I graduated from Carrington College with my certificate in dental assisting. I’ve always had a passion in helping others. I chose to be in the dental field because I love being part of helping patients get back their confidence through their smiles. It’s such a rewarding job! When I’m not at work you can find me either at a park with my dog or the gym. I love being out in nature and will never say no to going on a hike!
